When I describe Opus Magnum, I say that it's a puzzle game that focuses on optimization challenges rather then traditional puzzle design. In my experience solving focuses on small improvements instead of big aha moments. This puzzle has fundamentally changed how I view the game.

I solved this puzzle 4 times, with each solution feeling 100% optimal. I thought the puzzle needed duplication. Then, I thought the puzzle needed a bonder. Then I thought the waste required a ton of fire grabs. It took both small improvements and fundamental perspective shifts to get this solution.

In many setting communities (like Rules Sudoku or Meta Crosswords), you can tell a puzzle has been playtested by how specific the language is. This weeks secondary being "Times Fire is grabbed" signals to me that this was tested a ton behind the scenes.

This is my new favorite puzzle, congrats on this masterpiece.
